Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Credential or equivalent state certification.
  • Experience instructing students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high school settings.
  • Strong background in teaching Math tailored to multiple grade levels.
  • Understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans for students with varying abilities across grades Pre-K through 12th.
  • Implement and adapt Math curriculum based on each students Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records to support academic and social growth.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with families to encourage ongoing involvement and advocacy.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
