Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience with IEP (Individualized Education Program) writing and delivering specialized services
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Adaptability in working with elementary or secondary caseloads
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to students unique strengths and goals
• Deliver high-quality specialized instruction in pull-out or inclusion settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student growth
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Use a variety of evidence-based instructional strategies to engage and support learners
