Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials/certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Familiarity with differentiating instruction and integrating accommodations/modifications
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students IEPs
• Assess students academic and behavioral progress, modifying teaching strategies as needed
• Develop, update, and maintain accurate IEP records and documentation
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning
• Partner with general education teachers and specialists to implement support plans
• Advocate for students, guiding them toward success both in and out of the classroom
