This full-time position is tailored for a dedicated educator with a passion for empowering students with special needs. Working in a K-2 life skills, self-contained classroom, you will be at the heart of transformative education, developing individualized strategies to nurture young learners growth and independence.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (required)
  • Experience working in a self-contained or life skills classroom preferred
  • Skill in adapting lessons for diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
  • Enthusiasm for travel assignments and working in new environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and support to K-2 students in a life skills, self-contained setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with families, specialists, and school staff
  • Track student progress and adapt teaching approaches as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
