Job Description

As a licensed Teacher of Record with a Mild to Moderate K-12 Indiana state license, youll provide direct instruction and individualized support, helping students access their fullest potential. With a 35-hour workweek and consistent assignment for the year, you'll play a vital role in fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment.

Key qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Indiana state license: Mild to Moderate, K-12
  • State credentials as a Teacher of Record for Special Education
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students with a range of needs (Inclusion, Resource, Autism classrooms)
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, collaborative classroom community
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

General responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Modify curriculum and provide differentiated instruction to students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
  • Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and document outcomes
  • Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
