This contract assignment begins mid-August 2026 and runs through late May 2027, offering you the stability to see your students grow throughout the school year. Youll work onsite alongside a dedicated team, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students who need your guidance most.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Special Education teaching license in Missouri, or a full license from another state with Missouri licensure in process
- Willingness to work on-site (virtual roles are not available)
- Experience or strong interest in elementary self-contained (essential skills, low functioning) and/or secondary resource co-teaching
- Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods for diverse learners
- Committed to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students specific needs
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
