Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support students with diverse learning needs from ASAP through June in Ellicott City, MD. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school environment while utilizing your expertise in special education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in both general and specialized settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to promote student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all special education regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
