Desired Qualifications:
- Current Texas Teaching Certification is required
- TX Reading By Design Certification must be held and active
- Experience supporting students with dyslexia in educational settings
- For bilingual applicants: Training in Esperanza and Reading By Design is essential
- Proven ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized reading interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt instruction for varying elementary grade levels
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct dyslexia screenings, progress monitoring, and reading interventions for assigned students
- Create and deliver tailored instructional plans leveraging research-based programs
- Maintain detailed documentation of student performance and prepare reports for key stakeholders
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on reading development and intervention strategies
- Adjust instructional techniques and materials to meet each students needs, using a data-driven approach
