Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Approval as a School Social Worker in Michigan
- In-depth knowledge of MTSS, trauma-informed care, and social-emotional learning
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Authorized to work in the US; clear background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide differentiated, evidence-based instructionespecially for students with ASD
- Establish and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment
- Collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices and interventions
- Collaborate daily with educational staff, therapists, and families
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Foster communication, social, and life skills development
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations at all levels
