Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Approval as a School Social Worker in Michigan
• In-depth knowledge of MTSS, trauma-informed care, and social-emotional learning
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Authorized to work in the US; clear background check and drug screening

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated, evidence-based instructionespecially for students with ASD
• Establish and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment
• Collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices and interventions
• Collaborate daily with educational staff, therapists, and families
• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Foster communication, social, and life skills development
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations at all levels
