Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Colorado teaching license with Special Education endorsement required

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students as outlined in their IEPs
Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the academic, emotional, and social needs of each learner
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service staff
Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
Promote an engaging and safe classroom environment conducive to learning for students with mild-to-moderate disabilities
Advocate for best practices in special education and keep up with current trends in the field
