Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility in the state)
• Experience with 5th-grade curriculum, especially in ELA and Math resource support
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instructional support in ELA and Math to 5th-grade students with IEPs
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs
• Develop and update individualized education plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and goals
• Foster a welcoming classroom that encourages participation and confidence
• Collaborate with staff to integrate resource support into general education settings
