Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering effective instruction tailored to each students unique abilities, interests, cultural background, and learning styles
• Designing and implementing lesson plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Actively fostering the social and developmental skills vital for early learners
• Collaborating with staff, families, and specialists to ensure coordinated support for students
• Serving as backup to the Director in their absence, helping support smooth program operations

Desired qualifications and credentials:

• Possess, or be eligible for, a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education or ESE
• Bachelors degree in education, early childhood education, special education, or a related discipline
• Required: Reading Endorsement and ESOL; otherwise, a willingness to actively pursue these endorsements
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training is a must
• Clear, effective communication skills in both spoken and written English; proficiency in Spanish is a valued asset
• Confident using computers, including Microsoft Office and online research tools
