Inspire the littlest learners and make a difference every day as a Special Education Pre-K Teacher for the full school year. Based near Miami and Hollywood, FL, this direct hire position focuses on providing individualized academic and social instruction to young children with special needs, following their Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and ensuring every students unique learning style and background is respected.
Your commitment will help create a nurturing, supportive environment where each child can thrive. When needed, you'll also have the opportunity to serve as a resourceful backup to the Director, helping maintain consistency and care throughout the program.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education and ESE
- Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a related area
- Reading Endorsement and ESOLeither completed or a willingness to enroll and obtain
- Department of Children & Family Child Care Training (completed)
- Clear, effective communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Strong computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office and web research
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering engaging instruction tailored to each students IEP
- Promoting social and academic growth in an inclusive Pre-K setting
- Recognizing and adapting lessons to fit students individual needs, interests, and cultures
- Supporting program operations by stepping in for the Director when necessary
