Available roles include:
- Intensive Support/Autism at the elementary level
- Supplemental support positions at the creative arts school, as well as both middle and high school (with a hybrid support model in place at the middle school)
All opportunities are onsite, giving you the chance to work directly with students and make a meaningful difference day-to-day. Candidates who move forward in the process will receive in-depth information during the interview stage.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working in special education settings (Autism, supplemental, or hybrid support experience is highly valued)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment and adapt to diverse learner needs
- Commitment to professional growth and development
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct instruction and support services in accordance with students' goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational guidelines
