Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Certification in Special Education required
- Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered support
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans
- Proven collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Availability to work full-time and on-site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each students unique abilities and goals
- Lead and coordinate IEP meetings, drafting and updating individualized education plans to ensure compliance and progress
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families, building a supportive and inclusive classroom culture
- Monitor and assess students academic and social-emotional progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Facilitate a safe, welcoming environment that encourages growth, self-advocacy, and participation
