Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting students in a K-12 environment on a contract assignment running through late May 2027. This opportunity involves working with multiple schools and a range of students, from inclusion settings to adaptive needs. You'll play a key role in facilitating individualized learning and fostering an inclusive classroom community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education Certification required
• Experience working with students in both inclusion and adaptive settings preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable with technology and willing to participate in remote interviews via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs across K-12 grade levels
• Adapt and modify lesson plans to ensure accessibility for all students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records and progress documentation for assigned caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
