Job Description

  • Collaborating with paraeducators and other support staff provided by the district to enhance student success.
  • Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
  • Engaging with fellow educators and participating in virtual panel interviews as part of the hiring process.
  • Maintaining compliance with North Carolina special education standards and district policies.

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in adaptive or separate special education settings.
  • Ability to manage a small caseload effectively with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort with virtual interview formats and a readiness to begin as soon as possible.
