Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement specialized instructional strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school personnel to promote inclusive learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and execution of educational plans
