Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Special Education Teaching licensure/certification
  • Prior experience in school-based special education settings is valued
  • Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively and foster an inclusive, positive environment
  • Strong communication skills for frequent collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Committed to maintaining accurate documentation and staying organized
  • Full-time availability for the entire 2026/2027 school year (37.5 hours/week, MondayFriday)
  • Must be able to work on-site

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and classroom activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings, reviews, and progress monitoring
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain detailed records of student growth and program effectiveness
  • Provide regular updates and support to families and colleagues
