This full-time assignment runs from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm. You'll lead a class of 13 pre-K students with mild to moderate learning needs, collaborating with an engaged team and gaining valuable experience in early childhood special education. Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher credential with fingerprint clearance for Pre-K classrooms
  • Experience or deep interest in early childhood special education
  • Ability to manage and support a caseload of 13 pre-K students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, and families
  • Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and regular reporting requirements
