This full-time, contract opportunity spans from now through June 4, 2027, offering you the chance to be a vital part of students educational journeys over multiple academic years. Working Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 3:15pm, youll provide targeted instruction and support to middle school students in a self-contained, non-severe setting, as well as elementary students in a resource teacher role for grades K-5.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (applicable for the state)
• Experience in self-contained or resource settings preferred
• Deep understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and tailored instruction
• Strong collaboration skills for working alongside general education staff, specialists, and families
• Compassion for students with diverse learning needs and the flexibility to modify teaching strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned caseloads
• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in both self-contained and resource settings
• Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet learning goals
• Partner with school staff and families to facilitate successful inclusion and academic achievement
• Foster a safe, nurturing classroom where students feel supported and motivated to grow
