Help shape the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis. Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field (required)
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state-specific certification required)
- Prior experience designing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Engage with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent support and communication
