Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Active special education teaching license for the state of Virginia.
• Endorsement in Adaptive Curriculum for ages 3 through 5.
• Experience working with early childhood special education preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement adaptive lesson plans for preschoolers.
• Provide individualized instruction based on students needs and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families.
• Track and measure student progress, maintaining thorough records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support services with a multidisciplinary team.
• Create an engaging, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
