Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license (MA SPED)
- Proven classroom experience, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Deep understanding and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom for elementary students with Autism in a substantially separate setting
- Develop and implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Apply ABA strategies to maximize student engagement, learning, and independence
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Engage with parents, guardians, and school staff to support each childs educational journey
- Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities
- Foster a positive, welcoming classroom culture that encourages every childs unique strengths
