Key Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education certification with a current SPED endorsement (no TA or TAT credentials accepted)
  • Prior experience teaching in special education settings is highly valued
  • Ability to complete all background checks, drug screening, and district fingerprinting ahead of employment
  • Positive references and professional demeanor
  • Immediate availability for the outlined credentialing process

Duties will include:

  • Delivering tailored instruction and specialized support based on individual student needs
  • Developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Supporting students social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
