Youll be supporting learners with moderate intellectual disabilities and autism, guiding them toward growth and success every day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Special Education Teacher is required
  • Previous experience working with elementary students
  • Familiarity with self-contained classroom environments is a strong plus
  • Background supporting students with autism and/or moderate intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Ready to start as soon as possible; able to commit through the end of December with potential for extension

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet varied student needs
  • Foster a supportive and structured environment, encouraging academic and social development
  • Collaborate with classroom assistants, therapists, and related service providers
  • Communicate regularly with families and school staff to celebrate milestones and address challenges
  • Collect and track student progress data to inform instructional adjustments
