• Familiarity with CT-SEDS preferred
• Ability to handle diverse learning needs, provide differentiated instruction, and support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and educational teams
• Strong organizational skills and a positive approach to flexible scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students with varying abilities, adapting lessons to meet individual educational goals
• Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Track and document student progress, participating in meetings and conferences as needed
• Provide ongoing support and advocacy for students, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
• Integrate assistive technology and evidence-based interventions when suitable
