Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Active Connecticut Special Education Teaching License
- Previous experience with high school student populations preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for high school students
- Adapt classroom instruction to accommodate varying learning needs and disabilities
- Track, document, and report on student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
- Work closely with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated student support
- Maintain a safe, encouraging, and positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with students families and participate in IEP meetings
