Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Active Connecticut Special Education Teaching License
• Previous experience with high school student populations preferred

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for high school students
• Adapt classroom instruction to accommodate varying learning needs and disabilities
• Track, document, and report on student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
• Work closely with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated student support
• Maintain a safe, encouraging, and positive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with students families and participate in IEP meetings
