Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity working onsite as a Special Education Teacher, supporting elementary-age students in autism support classrooms. With small class sizesno more than eight students per classroomand 23 paraprofessionals in each room, youll have the necessary resources to provide individualized attention and support.

Youll play a vital part in maintaining required special education documentation, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and leading IEP meetings. New teachers are welcomed with comprehensive onboarding training and ongoing guidance from experienced autism coaches. In addition, there are multiple caseload options available to best match your experience and interests.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License
• Previous experience with students with autism is preferred
• Comfortable addressing a range of behavioral and educational needs
• Proven ability to manage documentation and IEP responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in elementary autism support classrooms
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date special education records and documentation
• Develop, implement, and lead IEPs and related meetings
