Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies
• Ability to adapt to varying student abilities and classroom needs
• Previous experience in schools setting is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to each students learning plan
• Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with general education faculty and support staff
• Communicate progress and challenges to parents and administrators
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to continuously enhance skills
