Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity dedicated to empowering young learners! Experienced Special Education Teachers are sought to support early childhood students in a collaborative and enriching educational environment. With two positions available, you'll provide specialized instruction to PreK students with diverse abilities across multiple district sites in the area.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility
  • Previous classroom experience working with early childhood (PreK) students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility to travel to various district sites as assigned
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 1020 PreK students, adapting teaching methods to meet individual IEP goals
  • Engage in collaborative planning with general education teachers and support staff
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Track student progress, document outcomes, and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other required activities
  • Maintain a consistent daily schedule from 7:30AM3:30PM, for 40 hours per week, across the academic year from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027

Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, providing a competitive rate for your expertise and dedication.
