Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing specialized instruction and support as an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, contract opportunity is tailored for passionate special education professionals who thrive in collaborative, school-based environments. Serving either middle or elementary caseloads onsite, you will play a key role in fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Georgia SPED Licensure/Certification (proof required for consideration)
• Experience in K-12 special education settings, particularly with ASD populations, strongly preferred
• Strong skills in classroom management, IEP implementation, and collaboration with general education teachers
• Familiarity with data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation best practices
• Availability for a full-time, MondayFriday schedule (37.5 hours per week) throughout the 2026/2027 academic year

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction to students on the autism spectrum in either elementary or middle school settings
• Develop and modify lesson plans to meet individualized education goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and review IEPs
• Facilitate communication with families and caregivers regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district procedures
• Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment that promotes student growth and success
