In this position, youll be collaborating with other professionals to deliver tailored instruction and interventions that empower each student to reach their potential. The assignment is for 35 hours per week (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), and covers the entire school year through May 27, 2027.

To be considered, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active Louisiana DOE Certification with a Special Education endorsement (mandatory)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Ability to satisfy all district credentialing, including drug screen and fingerprinting
• Readiness to begin work immediately; only those with active licenses will be reviewed

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Designing and adapting instructional plans for students with special needs
• Implementing IEPs and monitoring student progress
• Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Advocating for students to ensure access to appropriate educational resources
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
