Exciting opportunities await for dedicated Special Education Teachers eager to make a difference in the lives of students. A full-time contract assignment is now available, offering 37.5 hours per week for the school year. This position is based in Siskiyou County, CA, near Grenada, and serves a manageable caseload of 28 or fewer students with mild to moderate needs. While this role is primarily on-site, there may be flexibility for virtual or hybrid arrangements for the right candidate.

In this important role, youll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and support staff, delivering tailored instruction and support in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your expertise ensures that each student receives the personalized attention they deserve to maximize their potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential in California (mild/moderate emphasis preferred)
• Recent experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Adaptable with the ability to thrive in both on-site and potential virtual environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and assess individualized instructional plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Partner with support staff, therapists, and administration for student success
• Engage and communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress
