Desired Qualifications:

• Indiana state license in Special Education Mild to Moderate, valid for K-12
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher and Teacher of Record preferred
• Strong skills in classroom management, differentiation, and adapting instruction
• Open to working in self-contained, inclusion, resource, or autism classrooms
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Serving as the primary Special Education Teacher or Teacher of Record for assigned students
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct instruction, academic support, and behavioral management as required
• Collaborating closely with general educators, support staff, and families to foster student achievement
• Maintaining accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
