Job Description

Title: Special Education Teacher

Employment Type: Full-time | Contract | 20262027 School Year

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking six Special Education Teachers to support students across elementary, early childhood, and intermediate grade levels in Greenville, Texas. Positions include Structured Learning, Functional, Early Childhood, and inclusion settings. Each teacher will be assigned to one school and collaborate with school teams to provide individualized instruction and support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience working with students in special education settings preferred
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized instruction
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction based on individual student needs
  • Support students in Structured Learning, Functional, Early Childhood, or inclusion settings
  • Develop and implement IEPs and individualized educational strategies
  • Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school team collaboration
