Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired (NC TVI) licensure required
  • Experience working with school-age children with vision impairments preferred
  • Ability to adapt instructional techniques for varying needs and ages
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized instruction and support to a caseload of 35 visually impaired students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families
  • Provide assessments and recommend adaptive resources or technology
