Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to accommodate various learning styles
• Effective communication skills for interactions with students, staff, and parents
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with special needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure inclusive practices
• Develop, update, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Monitor and track student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, and growth
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and objectives
• Participate in school meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
