Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Special Education (SPED) PreK-12 Teaching License (required)
- Experience working with PreK-12th grade students in a school setting
- Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student requirements
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging instruction to small groups and individual students
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support classroom integration
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and district guidelines
- Engage in ongoing professional development and consult with the Clinical Advisory Team
