What We're Looking For:
- Valid Wisconsin Cross-Categorical Special Education certification (License #2801) required
- Demonstrated experience supporting students on the autism spectrum
- Proven ability to work with students presenting a variety of learning, emotional, and intellectual differences
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with general educators, support staff, and families
- Passion for inclusion and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and interventions for middle and high school students of varied exceptionalities
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and track student progress
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, modify curriculum, and create accessible learning opportunities
