Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will be vital in creating engaging lessons that empower students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities. As part of a collaborative environment, youll connect with families, other educators, and support staff, all working towards successful outcomes for every student.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio intervention specialist certification
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students social, emotional, and academic development
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers and specialists
• Communicate regularly with families and caretakers to share progress and strategies
