• Licensed Special Education Teacher with a current teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students
• Familiarity with both push-in and pull-out instructional models
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working alongside general education staff and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering an encouraging, adaptive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs

Role responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students in both general education classrooms (push-in) and specialized settings (pull-out)
• Develop, monitor, and adapt IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Maintain communication with parents, school personnel, and outside service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning activities
• Assist with classroom management and support behavioral plans as appropriate

This full-time position is located in Mishawaka, IN, and offers competitive pay at $40 per hour.
