This full-time, contract position is based near Fairmont, WV, and offers the unique opportunity to support a small caseload in a collaborative school setting from ASAP through June 5, 2026.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid West Virginia Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary students, especially those with moderate to severe disabilities
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and outside service providers
• Organized, flexible, and committed to a positive team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 2 students with moderate to severe needs
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to promote individual growth
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families
• Maintain accurate records and document student performance toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
