Job Description

An opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers to provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs in Golden, CO. This full-time role involves working directly with students in special education classrooms, delivering individualized services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and taking on mid-year case loads.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct instructional and therapeutic services in accordance with students IEPs
  • Developing, reviewing, and updating IEPs on schedule
  • Managing case responsibilities, including coordination with families, teachers, and related service providers
  • Taking over existing student cases mid-year with minimal disruption
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure student progress and well-being

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Colorado
  • SSP (Special Service Provider) certification required
  • Proven ability to step into mid-year cases and effectively manage individualized caseloads
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Location and schedule details:

  • Position is onsite in Golden, Colorado
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
