Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in special education classrooms. This role involves delivering direct services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), case management, and IEP development and updates. Candidates should have the flexibility to begin mid-year and take over existing caseloads effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and support in special education classrooms.
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Manage case files and fulfill case management duties.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet student needs.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant educational policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education Certification.
  • SSP (Special Service Provider) Certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in special education, preferably with mid-year case starts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student-centered educational practices.

Location: Onsite position based in Golden, CO.

Work Schedule: Full-time with 35 hours per week.
