You'll work in an inclusive/resource setting at elementary and middle schools, serving caseloads that support students across a range of abilities, with para support in some classrooms. Preference is given to candidates comfortable with toileting and managing behavioral needs when required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience in special education, particularly in inclusion/resource or structured settings
- Willingness to assist with toileting and behavioral management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability for diverse classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction in inclusion/resource and structured classroom settings
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for caseloads of 510 students per assignment
- Work collaboratively with classroom staff, paraeducators, and co-teachers
- Foster an encouraging, accommodating learning environment
- Regularly monitor and document student progress
