Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience teaching students in grades Pre-K through 12
- Proficiency in adapting curriculum for various learning styles and abilities
- Solid knowledge of Math instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to implement IEPs and collect relevant data
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to students with diverse needs from Kindergarten to high school
- Develop and adapt lesson plans that accommodate IEP goals and grade-level standards
- Collect data to inform IEP reporting and adjust strategies for student growth
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with support staff, general education teachers, and families to promote student achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in school meetings as required
