Qualifications / Skills Preferred:

  • Active Special Education (SPED) Teacher Certification (required)
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher
  • Flexibility to support students from preschool through junior high
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support in self-contained and resource classrooms
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
  • Manage classroom behaviors and foster a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate records and regular progress monitoring
