Current openings include a Self-Contained Behavior Program (ideal for those with experience in behavioral programs and CPI certification), a Self-Contained Kindergarten Autism Program serving students with moderate intellectual needs, and a part-time Resource role with a manageable caseload of 11 students. Your expertise and commitment will help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for every learner.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Educator Certification and valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience with elementary students in special education settings
  • CPI certification strongly preferred for the Behavior Program opening
  • Background working with students with behavioral challenges or moderate intellectual disabilities is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with a diverse team of educators, staff, and families
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing every childs unique potential

What Youll Do:

  • Provide individualized and group instruction based on students IEPs
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
  • Develop and implement behavioral intervention strategies where applicable
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Partner with colleagues and families to support student success and holistic wellbeing
  • Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet differing student needs
