Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Arizona
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a resource room setting
- Expertise in developing, adapting, and delivering IEPs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Comfortable with behavioral intervention strategies and data-driven instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families on student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on each students growth and IEP goals
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Utilize effective classroom management and engagement strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and related professional development activities
