Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or resource teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of learning abilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral growth of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with special needs
• Provide small group or one-on-one instruction according to students IEPs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and service providers
• Monitor student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and maintain detailed documentation
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school improvement initiatives
